BUSINESS TASK
To develop a logo for the Hermitage Cultural and Historical Museum to draw attention to Russian culture.
ABOUT
The State Hermitage Museum  is a museum of art and culture in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is the second largest art museum in the world by gallery space. It was founded in 1764 when Empress Catherine the Great acquired an impressive
collection of paintings from the Berlin merchant Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky.
COOPERATION
A package of logo development services was provided, which included:
• Hold a briefing with the client about understanding the company's values
• Search for an idea
• Rendering of the logo version
• Visualization on media
DECISION
A logo was developed reflecting the value and significance of this museum. The shape of the logo was chosen based on the associations of the world "history" and "Hermitage", which made it possible to get a convenient and memorable logo.  All elements of colors such as black reflect rigor and steadfastness. White color means purity. Golden - wealth and luxury.​​​​​​​
